Episode 107-Outsmarting Imposter Syndrome
Startup Nation, Meet:
Melody Wilding, LMSW
Melody is a licensed social worker and coach. She helps female executives and entrepreneurs master the mental and emotional aspects of having a successful career and a balanced life.
Her clients are managers and leaders at places like Google, Facebook, HP, and Deloitte. She also helps entrepreneurs take bold steps to grow their businesses, like double their monthly income goal in a few weeks of coaching.
Melody is also the creator of The Media Darling Method, an online course that shows therapists how to reach more clients using PR and publicity.
Melody comes from a family of entrepreneurs. She got her name because her parents ran multiple businesses in the music and entertainment industries.
Melody is a Jersey girl born and raised. And she has the accent to prove it.
While Melody loves connecting, she is an INFJ and dedicated to helping other introverted and highly sensitive therapists do business in a way that fits their personal style.

If you’re in private practice, you wear a lot of hats. And some of those hats are totally great. But some — like filing taxes and running payroll, for example — not so great. That’s where Gusto comes in. Gusto makes payroll, taxes, and HR actually easy for small businesses. Fast, simple payroll processing, benefits, and expert HR support all in one place. Gusto automatically pays and files your federal, state, and local taxes so you don’t have to worry about it. Plus they make it easy to add on health benefits and even 401(k)s for your team. So let them wear one of your many hats — you have better things to do. Listeners get three months free when they run their first payroll. Try a demo and see for yourself at gusto.com/pps.
Knowing you need legal, ethical, and competent paperwork is overwhelming, time consuming, and expensive! We’re clinicians, not lawyers. We put in 100+ hours of work, combed through the laws and ethics, and paid thousands of dollars in expensive attorney fees so you don’t have to.
