Dr. Kate Campbell is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with an entrepreneurial spirit. She is Founder and CEO of Bayview Therapy - a counseling and psychology group practice with offices in Fort Lauderdale and Coral Springs, Florida. Since 2011, she has grown the brand into a team of 30+ caring and dedicated therapists who are specialized in different areas and committed to making a difference in our south Florida community.

Dr. Kate’s love for business and marketing inspired her to co-found The Private Practice Startup with her business partner, Katie Lemieux. Together they inspire mental health professionals across the globe to brand themselves and grow their dream practices. They are most known in the practice building community for their signature Private Practice Marketing E-Course + Coaching program and their attorney approved private practice paperwork.

Both her Doctorate and Masters Degrees were awarded by the Family Therapy Department at Nova Southeastern University and her Bachelors from East Carolina University.


When she’s not busy working with clients or inspiring private practitioners, she spends her time with family and friends. She’s a self-proclaimed food and wine connoisseur who loves to travel and create new memories. Her hobbies are music, pilates, riding horses, swimming, going to concerts, and of course the occasional “retail therapy”.



Susan Block has a successful marriage and family therapy practice in South Florida. She is extremely passionate about her work with couples and individuals.

Susan has a deep passion for assisting other mental health professionals who are eager to succeed in private practice.


She stays active by practicing yoga, kickboxing and running. Susan has a soft spot for dogs and volunteers occasionally at the local animal shelter.
